Rosalind Franklin was a true pioneer in the field of X Ray Crystallography as she developed the images that eventually led to the discovery the the DNA double helix structure!! Without the pioneering work done by Rosalind, Crick and Watson would never have had key structural information that they used to determine the structure of DNA. Sadly Rosalind died before being recognized for her groundbreaking work, however she is still remembered as a legend in the field!
